Everyday Life

Welcome 2017

Another year has come to an end. For so many that I know, it was a year like no other. It was a year of great loss…Prince, David Bowie, George Michael, Muhammad Ali, Glenn Fry, Patti Duke, Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds to name only a small few. Personally, I also had some losses this past year…some who had lived a long happy life and some who had their lives cut far too short. It was a year where I conquered one of my biggest fears…I even surprised myself with the strength I was able to find. I learned that the strength is always there…sometimes you just have to dig really deep to find it.

I was lucky enough to do a little travelling this past summer…saw some fantastic Canadian sites and had a great time. We purchased a little home away from home on the shores of a beautiful lake in Ontario’s famous Muskoka cottage country and really can’t wait to get back there once the spring arrives.

Last year was a year of good health and happiness for me and for everyone that means the most to me…and I really can’t ask for more than that. Today, the first day of a brand new year, was spent low-key with those that I hold closest to my heart celebrating with a great brunch and even greater company.

As the first day of 2017 is coming to a close, I want to take a moment to wish everyone the happiest of new year’s…may it be a year full of peace, good health and unbelievable happiness.
